Our fire crews responded to a few fires over the weekend, including a 136-acre wildfire started by a campfire. PLEASE keep water nearby and always check Michigan.gov/BurnPermit before burning.

How does the recent US Supreme Court ruling on wetlands affect Michigan? Fortunately, not much if at all. Michigan is one of 3 states with delegated authority from the federal government to run its own wetlands program. 1/2
